Two people, including an employee, were killed and nine others were injured in an Israeli bombing of the hospital.

The administration of the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital condemns in the strongest terms the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces this morning, when they directly targeted the northern gate of the hospital with a missile. This resulted in the martyrdom of a hospital staff member and a female citizen who was present near the targeted attack, and the injury of nine other medical personnel and patients inside the hospital with varying degrees of severity.

The hospital administration confirmed that this targeting comes within the context of ongoing blatant violations of international humanitarian law, as the Israeli occupation continues its systematic policy of destroying hospitals and targeting their staff.

The administration stressed that it will continue to fulfill its moral and humanitarian duty toward the wounded and sick in the Gaza Strip, despite the difficult circumstances, direct targeting, and the collapse of the health system in Gaza.

The hospital administration called on the international community, Arab and Islamic countries, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to assume their responsibilities and take urgent action to protect medical facilities in Gaza, ensure the safety of their workers, and halt the attacks on health facilities and hospitals.
