Kuwait Specialty Field Hospital “Heal Palestine” hosted a specialized training course entitled “Pregnancy and Postnatal Care Protocols”, in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The course addressed the most common health problems that women of childbearing age may face, such as anemia, hypertension, diabetes, and venous thrombosis, with a focusing on methods to manage them during pregnancy and after childbirth.
It also included practical sessions on comprehensive maternal care during pregnancy and the postpartum period, ensuring the improvement of the quality of healthcare services provided to women.
This course comes as a part of a series of training programs aimed at strengthening the capacities of medical teams and supplying them with the latest international protocols, to ensure better healthcare for both mothers and newborns.
