Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital received a delegation from the World Health Organization today, Monday, at its headquarters in the Al-Mawasi neighborhood, west of Khan Yunis.
The hospital’s chairman, Dr. Suhaib Al-Hams, welcomed the visiting delegation, appreciating the organization’s efforts to support the collapsing health sector amid the ongoing war of extermination in the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Al-Hamas briefed the visiting delegation on the catastrophic health situation facing Palestinians after a large number of hospitals in the southern Gaza Strip went out of service.
Al-Hamas also briefed the delegation on the services provided by the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital to residents and displaced persons, noting that the hospital receives thousands of patients and dozens of martyrs and wounded daily.
Al-Hamas discussed with the WHO delegation ways to cooperate and the possibility of enhancing health services in the coming period, in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
For its part, the visiting delegation praised the hospital’s tireless efforts and the system in place to provide the best service to citizens.
