The Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital announced the establishment of a fully equipped endoscopy unit, the only one of its kind in the southern Gaza Strip. This step is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance medical services amid the severe collapse of the health sector resulting from the ongoing war.

This unit will contribute to providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with gastrointestinal diseases, especially given the hundreds of patients on waiting lists for months, the increasing number of displaced persons to the southern Gaza Strip, and the growing need for specialized medical services.

The hospital emphasized that the unit was established through Palestinian efforts and capabilities, despite scarce resources, to meet a pressing need among our people amid the difficult humanitarian conditions facing the Gaza Strip.
