Under the generous sponsorship of the Palestinian Medical Council – Jerusalem and in coordination with the Palestinian Medical Council in Gaza, the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital in Mawasi, Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, hosted the final practical Palestinian Board exams in several medical specialties, including: urology, orthopedics, anesthesia, and intensive care.
The exams were held under the supervision of specialized scientific committees, with the participation of a number of physicians applying for board certification. The exams were held amidst a distinguished organizational atmosphere and oversight procedures that ensured integrity and transparency, in line with the professional standards adopted by the Palestinian Medical Council.
During his inspection of the exams, the hospital’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Suhaib Al-Hams, expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the medical and administrative staff in organizing the exams, commending their high level of preparedness and their commitment to providing an appropriate environment for applicants.
Dr. Al-Hamas also welcomed all participating physicians, appreciating their determination to continue their professional careers and the Palestinian Board’s scientific committees, who are doing their utmost to fulfill the noble mission of medicine. He also emphasized the hospital’s commitment to supporting specialized medical training and education and providing an environment conducive to excellence and creativity.
Dr. Al-Hamas emphasized that organizing such scientific events is an important step toward advancing specialized medical education in the Gaza Strip, despite the challenges and difficult circumstances facing the healthcare system amid the ongoing war on the Strip. The hospital is soon working to launch training programs in a number of medical specialties.
