The Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital in the Al-Mawasi area in the southern Gaza Strip announced the arrival of a very limited amount of fuel, sufficient to operate the hospital for only one day, threatening a complete halt to vital operations at the health facility.
The hospital administration warned of the repercussions of this shortage, particularly for the surgical operations department, which is facing increasing pressure with escalating waiting lists for emergency cases and patients requiring urgent surgical interventions.
The hospital renewed its appeal to relevant authorities, humanitarian organizations, and international organizations to urgently intervene and secure the necessary fuel to ensure the continuity of healthcare for patients and the wounded, who flock to the hospital around the clock.
The hospital emphasized that the continuation of this situation without intervention could lead to a real health disaster, especially given the presence of hundreds of thousands of displaced persons in the southern Gaza Strip and the deteriorating health and humanitarian conditions in the region.
