Women’s and Obstetrics Department Continues to Provide Free Services

The Women’s and Obstetrics Department at Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital “Palestine Healing” continues to provide free medical services to pregnant women in the southern Gaza Strip. The department performs dozens of natural deliveries daily, in addition to monitoring pregnancy cases with comprehensive medical care.

The department includes a specialized medical team of obstetrics and gynecology consultants, along with qualified midwives, ensuring healthcare that respects women’s privacy and meets their needs in a safe environment.

The department is also equipped with modern pregnancy testing and fetal monitoring devices, which are used to follow up cases with high precision to ensure the safety of both mother and fetus.

These efforts come amid the dire humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing war and the collapse of the health system. Pregnant women face significant challenges in accessing necessary care, amid a severe shortage of nutritional supplements, vitamins, and essential medical supplies.
