The Chairman of the Board, Dr. Sohaib Al-Hams, received a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO), represented by Dr. Abdul Nasser Subuh and Dr. Murad Abed.

Dr. Al-Hams welcomed the visiting delegation, emphasizing the importance of this visit in strengthening cooperation and coordination between the hospital and the WHO.

He also discussed with them the possibility of enhancing health services in the coming period, given the growing humanitarian and health challenges in the Gaza Strip after two years of the genocidal war, which caused widespread destruction to the health system.

Dr. Al-Hams expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the WHO for its continuous support and efforts in strengthening the resilience of health institutions.

The delegation praised the great efforts exerted by the hospital, as well as its administrative and medical systems, which ensure the provision of the best possible health services to citizens despite the difficult circumstances. They also affirmed their keenness to continue cooperation and coordination to serve patients and the wounded.
