The Board of Directors of Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital received a high-level delegation from the United Nations Population Fund, which visited the hospital on Wednesday afternoon to discuss cooperation and review the medical equipment provided by the institution to enhance maternity and maternal and child care services.
In turn, Dr. Suhaib Al-Hamas, Chairman of the Board of Directors, briefed the visiting delegation on the comprehensive medical services the hospital provides to the displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, despite the restrictions imposed by the occupation on the entry of medical supplies, its closure of the Rafah crossing for more than two months, and the heavy shelling targeting the hospital’s surroundings.
The visiting delegation praised the distinguished healthcare services and administrative system followed at the Kuwaiti field hospital, commending the highly professional staff of doctors, nurses, and administrators.
At the conclusion of the visit, the visiting delegation agreed with the hospital administration to enhance coordination between them, with the organization expressing its willingness to provide further support to enhance maternal and child care.
