The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Speciality Hospital, Dr. Sohaib Al-Hums, received a delegation from the PALMED Foundation.
Dr. Al-Hums welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his appreciation for their visit and their ongoing efforts in supporting the healthcare sector in Gaza Strip.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Hums discussed with the delegation the major challenges facing the health sector amid the severe shortage of medicines, medical equipment, and supplies caused by the war and the closure of border crossings. He also reviewed the services the hospital has been providing to patients and the wounded over the past two years.
The delegation toured the hospital’s various departments and facilities, commending the level of equipment and services provided despite the difficult conditions faced by hospitals in Gaza.
For their part, the visiting delegation expressed their appreciation to the hospital’s management and medical and administrative staff, praising their tremendous efforts to deliver the best possible care to patients.
At the conclusion of the visit, both parties agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation in the coming period to support Kuwait Speciality Hospital, enhance its services, and expand the scope of care provided to patients and the wounded.
