
Projects and Development Department
The Projects and Development Department is a vital division of the Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital. It oversees the implementation of various projects within the hospital, including construction, expansion, and medical and non-medical equipment, as well as supervising routine and emergency maintenance work for all hospital facilities and departments.
The department seeks to develop the work environment and services provided by planning and implementing infrastructure improvement projects and upgrading operational services, ensuring business continuity under various circumstances, particularly in light of the humanitarian and logistical challenges resulting from the emergency situation in the Gaza Strip.
Medical Administration
The Medical Administration is the foundation for organizing healthcare services and overseeing integrated patient care according to the highest quality standards.
It is headed by the Medical Director, who supervises operations in surgical departments, specialized clinics, outpatient units, inpatient care, emergency services, and endoscopy units, ensuring the application of health protocols and effective coordination between departments.
The administration also includes the Director of paramedicel Units, overseeing the laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and medical supplies units.
The Medical Administration works continuously with other departments to provide safe and effective healthcare services for all patients, adhering to the highest standards of safety and medical quality.
Human Resources Department
The department represents a cornerstone of institutional management, playing a key role in recruiting, developing, and retaining qualified medical and administrative staff to ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
It manages employee affairs, including recruitment, promotions, salaries, and incentives, as well as performance evaluations and the provision of training and professional development programs that meet the hospital’s needs.
Additionally, the department fosters a positive work environment based on fairness, belonging, and motivation, alongside strategic workforce planning aligned with the hospital’s mission to provide exceptional and sustainable healthcare.
Administrative Affairs Department
This department plays a central role in supporting and monitoring the hospital’s daily activities, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow.
It is responsible for managing financial and material resources, organizing documents and records, monitoring contracts and procurement, and coordinating logistical and administrative services with other departments and medical units.
The department also develops administrative policies and procedures to improve the work environment and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards, contributing to high-quality healthcare delivery and achieving the hospital’s strategic objectives.
Finance Department
Responsible for managing the hospital’s financial resources and ensuring their efficient and transparent use to support the provision of healthcare services.
The department’s tasks include preparing budgets, monitoring revenues and expenditures, generating periodic financial reports, and overseeing accounting records.
It also ensures compliance with established financial and accounting standards and provides accurate financial data to assist senior management in making strategic decisions, adhering to the highest standards of transparency and professionalism to ensure resource sustainability and support hospital operations.
Public Relations & Media Department
This department acts as a link between the hospital and the public, highlighting the hospital’s humanitarian and medical role. It is responsible for documenting medical activities and services, producing visual and written materials, organizing awareness campaigns, and issuing press releases and reports on the hospital’s work.
It consists of highly skilled media professionals who manage the hospital’s social media platforms and website, including regular announcements related to departments and clinics.
The department aims to enhance the hospital’s institutional image and build trust with the community and supporting organizations through event coverage.
